About The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned AWS Data Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to design and
implement a robust data mart layer built on behavioral and transactional data. The ideal candidate
will have a strong background in data modeling, SQL development, and ELT pipelines, with a
proven ability to ensure data quality and deliver scalable solutions for analytical and business
intelligence needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data models to support analytical and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain ELT pipelines using AWS services and modern data engineering tools.
- Build and optimize data marts for behavioral and transactional datasets.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, monitoring, and governance practices.
- Perform source-to-target mapping and document data lineage for transparency and compliance.
- Collaborate with BI developers and analysts to deliver actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in AWS-based data engineering.
- Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Redshift for large-scale data warehousing.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- Knowledge of DBT for transformation and modeling.
- Background in analytical data engineering or BI development preferred.
