AWS Connect Engineer (Node.js / Serverless)

Role:AWS Connect + Node.js Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 12 months+

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Timezone: IST with overlap to US teams (2 hours of overlap. End of consultant's day overlaps with start of US day EST.)

Location: 100% Remote

We are seeking experienced AWS Connect Engineers to support a large-scale contact center transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Amazon Connect, Node.js, AWS Lambda, and scalable serverless backend integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Amazon Connect Contact Flows
• Build backend integrations using Node.js and AWS Lambda
• Integrate Amazon Connect with enterprise APIs and applications
• Support event-driven processing and real-time call orchestration
• Optimize Lambda scalability and application performance
• Troubleshoot production issues and support highly available systems

Requirements

• Strong experience with Amazon Connect and Contact Flows
• Strong Node.js development experience
• Experience with AWS Lambda and AWS SDK
• Experience with Amazon Connect Streams API
• Experience building scalable serverless applications
• Strong understanding of asynchronous event processing

Preferred

• Enterprise contact center platform experience
• Multi-region AWS architecture experience
