AWS Connect Engineer (Java / Serverless)

Role:AWS Connect + Java Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 12 months+

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Timezone: IST with overlap to US teams (2 hours of overlap. End of consultant's day overlaps with start of US day EST.)

Location: 100% Remote

We are seeking experienced AWS Connect Engineers to support a large-scale contact center transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Amazon Connect, Java-based backend services, AWS Lambda, and enterprise integrations within scalable cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support Amazon Connect integrations with backend systems
• Build Java-based microservices and REST APIs
• Design and optimize AWS Lambda functions for scalable workloads
• Support backend orchestration and workflow integrations
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams on cloud-native solutions

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and Contact Flows
• Strong Java development experience
• Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices
• Experience integrating enterprise backend systems
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

Preferred

• Enterprise-scale environment experience
• Multi-region AWS deployment exposure
• High availability/resiliency experience
