Job Title: AWS Cloud Solutions Architect

Experience: 8+ years

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing scalable, resilient AWS cloud architectures. You will play a key role in building and maintaining cloud solutions leveraging a wide range of AWS services, ensuring cost-efficiency, security, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implement AWS Solutions: Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services like ECS, Lambda, and API Gateway, while utilizing IaC tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
ECS Optimization: Develop and fine-tune ECS cluster placement strategies for optimized performance and cost-efficiency.
Serverless Architecture: Design scalable serverless applications with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
Streaming Data Solutions: Build real-time streaming architectures with Amazon Kinesis (Kinesis Data Streams, Firehose, Analytics) to support low-latency data processing and analytics.
API Authorization & Integration: Implement secure API authorization using AWS Cognito and IAM, and integrate API Gateway with backend servers and services.
AWS Systems Manager (SSM): Leverage AWS SSM for automating deployment, managing configurations, and patching, including SSM document creation and automation.
AWS Organizations & SCP Controls: Design and manage Service Control Policies (SCPs) within AWS Organizations to enforce security and governance in a multi-account environment.
Deployment & Automation: Utilize CI/CD pipelines and apply deployment strategies (blue-green, rolling, canary) to automate and streamline infrastructure provisioning using IaC.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Develop and implement robust DR strategies, ensuring high availability and reliability through backup, recovery, and business continuity plans.
Log Management & Troubleshooting: Deep understanding of log management and troubleshooting practices, including monitoring, collecting, and analyzing logs from various AWS services.
Streaming Logs to Splunk & Dashboards: Implement and manage log streaming to Splunk, creating dashboards for real-time log analysis, monitoring, and alerting.
Cost Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize AWS infrastructure for improved performance and cost management.

Qualifications:

Proven Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying AWS solutions at scale.
IaC Expertise: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
AWS Service Mastery: Extensive hands-on experience with ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, SSM, Kinesis, Cognito, IAM, and other core AWS services.
Deployment Expertise: Strong experience in modern deployment strategies like blue-green, rolling, and canary deployments, along with CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc.).
Security Best Practices: Solid knowledge of AWS security practices and governance, including implementing AWS Organizations and SCPs.
Disaster Recovery Expertise: Strong understanding of DR strategies, backup solutions, high availability, and business continuity within AWS environments.
Log Management: Expertise in log management, troubleshooting, and experience with streaming logs to tools like Splunk and building dashboards for log analysis.
Automation Skills: Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) for automating cloud processes and infrastructure management.
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is preferred.
