Job Description
- Lead AWS cloud architecture and platform design for scalability, security, and high availability
- Own AWS infrastructure, networking, identity, and managed services
- Enable and govern CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and automation
- Drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident management
- Define cloud standards, guardrails, and best practices
- Guide teams on cost optimisation, performance, and capacity planning
- Mentor and lead cloud and DevOps engineers
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and security stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
- Experience designing and operating AWS platforms at scale
- CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform preferred)
- Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Kafka production experience
- Monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Humio)
- Linux, scripting (Bash / Python), cloud security fundamentals
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers
Qualifications
Nice to have -
- Kafka ecosystem tools (Connect, Schema Registry, KSQL)
- DevSecOps and SRE practices
- Configuration management AWS / Kubernetes / Terraform certifications
- Enterprise or regulated environment experience
- FinOps / AWS cost optimization exposure
