About the Role
We are seeking an AWS AI Security Engineer to design, build, and support secure AWS AI environments with robust identity, network, and data protection controls. The ideal candidate will work closely with business, data, cloud, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and measurable AI solutions while ensuring compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security architectures for AI and Generative AI workloads running on AWS.
- Configure and manage AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and permissions for AI services.
- Implement encryption strategies using AWS Key Management Service (KMS) to protect data at rest and in transit.
- Design secure Amazon VPC architectures for AI workloads, including network segmentation and private connectivity.
- Secure Amazon Bedrock environments by implementing access controls, governance, and security best practices.
- Configure AWS CloudTrail for auditing, logging, and compliance monitoring across AI environments.
- Develop and maintain security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response processes for AI infrastructure.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, cloud architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to integrate security throughout the AI development lifecycle.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability reviews, and compliance checks for AI applications.
- Maintain technical documentation, security standards, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with AWS IAM
- Hands-on experience with AWS KMS
- Knowledge of Amazon VPC networking and security
- Experience securing Amazon Bedrock environments
- Strong understanding of AWS CloudTrail and audit logging
- Experience with security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response
- Familiarity with AWS security best practices and cloud governance
Experience Requirements
- Up to 5 years of overall experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant hands-on experience in AWS security, cloud security, AI infrastructure, or related technologies
