Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all direct and indirect tax-related matters for the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise tax liabilities.
  • Handle tax audits and assessments efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on tax planning and reporting.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payments.
  • Provide guidance to the team on tax-related matters.
  • Stay updated with the latest changes in tax laws and their implications for the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP - Taxation should have:

  • CA with 18-20 years of post-qualification experience
  • Expertise in direct and indirect taxation applicable in India.
  • Strong exposure to SAP
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience handling tax audits and assessments.
  • Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
