Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow SME agency commercial lines of business in the Mumbai region.
  • Manage and support agency partners to achieve business targets and maintain strong relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies in all agency operations.
  • Train and mentor agency teams to enhance their performance and knowledge of general insurance products.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Identify and onboard new agency partners to expand the company's reach in the SME segment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP - SME Agency should have:

  • A strong educational background in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in the general insurance industry, particularly in managing agency operations.
  • A deep understanding of SME-focused insurance products and market dynamics.
