About the Role: We're looking for an experienced AVP to join our Real Assets department and manage full-cycle deal execution, from origination and screening to researching, evaluation, due diligence, and monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Deal sourcing and screening.
- Review contracts to develop commercial term sheets for Real Assets investments based on objectives of the Fund and Merak Capital.
- Financial modelling and due diligence for investment evaluation.
- Preparation, co-ordination and follow up of investment proposals and deal presentations for approvals.
- Interact with advisors such as legal, accounting, technical, valuation etc. as may be required for the above.
- Deal negotiation and closure of approved investments.
- Preparation of quarterly reports and other communication with Investors and Board of Directors of the Fund.
- Take responsibility for creating in-house research and knowledgebase of various subsegments of real estate.
- Support in development of new relationships in the market to build transaction pipelines.
- Implementation of investment strategy for the portfolio including valuations and hold/ sell decisions.
- Maintain and develop external vendor relationships and partnerships to support objectives of the Fund.
- Monitoring of investments of the Fund.
- Manage and groom a team of associates and analysts.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field is highly desirable.
- 8+ years of experience in real estate investments, asset management, or real assets within institutional or investment firm environments.
- Proven track record of executing, and managing successful real estate transactions.
- Strong understanding of financial markets.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and operate effectively in a fast-paced investment environment.
- Knowledge of KSA government regulations and investment landscape is a plus.
