Job Description

Strategy:

  • Work with Hive, Sub-domain, and Domain leadership to support governance and reporting, providing a consolidated view across the Hive, Business, or Function Unit.
  • Report major changes to the prioritized product backlog within the 90-day cycle to the Refinement Forum (RF) for approval, and submit the impact to OKRs, cost, and timeline shifts to the Quarterly Performance Review (QPR).

Business:

  • Responsible for financial management in collaboration with the Chief PO and Hive Tech Lead, including clarity updates, reports, capitalization, variance, underspends, and cost plans.
  • Align initiatives, product backlog, and cost to approved QPRs.
  • Ensure all necessary approved Statements of Work (SOWs) and contracts are in place for procuring vendor resources and infrastructure, and manage vendor payments.
  • Engage with Country Finance teams to understand budget requirements across regions.
  • Track invoicing and transfer of costs to the project until closure of the Purchase Order.

Processes:

  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies, process simplification, and optimization.
  • Ensure effective time management for high-quality inputs during the forecasting cycle, ensuring accuracy.
  • Document and communicate processes to ensure transparency of deliverables and deadlines for all stakeholders.

People & Talent:

  • Share best practices and mentor junior PMOs to support their career growth.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership due to required engagement with senior management.

Risk Management:

  • Present financial details to the Refinement Forum (RF) with variances (underspends/overspends).
  • Monitor Risk and Issues Registers, ensuring consistent Risk and Issue management across the Hive or Sub-domain.
  • Proactively raise and validate risks related to financials, governance, headcount, and benefits.
  • Support Chief Project Officers (CPOs) in responding to audit, GIA, and external audits.

Governance:

  • Establish control across the Refinement Forums and maintain the governance framework for efficient management of strategic investments in compliance with Change Delivery Standards.
  • Ensure synchronization of Clarity data with tasks and resource allocation.

Regulatory & Business Conduct:

  • Display exemplary conduct, adhering to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
  • Lead the team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles, including fair outcomes for clients, effective financial markets, and compliance with financial crime regulations.

Skills and Experience:

  • Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills to manage and evaluate financial data.
  • Excel: Advanced Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication skills for reporting, presenting, and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Expertise in managing complex projects, including financial management and risk mitigation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree and above in a relevant field.
  • Training: Project Management or Financial Analysis related training.
  • Certifications: PMP (Preferred, not a prerequisite).
