Experience10-13YearsQualification BE / B. Tech / M. Tech - Computer EngineeringRole & Responsibilities:Key responsibilities include:- Delivered user support for APAC regions, troubleshooting and resolving security platform incidents within defined SLAs.
- Administered and supported infrastructure security solutions, including VPNs, secure access controls, and endpoint protection technologies.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to integrate security frameworks into IT infrastructure and application environments.
- Assisted in the design, implementation, and Permit-to-Operate (PTO) compliance of new and existing security solutions.
- Monitored and managed security domains including Endpoint Security, Email Security, Web Security, Network Security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Threat Detection, Vulnerability Management, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Participated in security risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending remediation measures.
- Monitored infrastructure traffic, investigated security incidents, performed root cause analysis, and implemented corrective actions to minimize business impact.
- Supported incident response and forensic investigations by documenting findings, maintaining incident records, and contributing to continuous security improvements.
- Stayed current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry best practices through ongoing training, security forums, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications- 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure Security, including 5+ years in the deployment, administration, and support of enterprise security solutions.
- Strong expertise in implementing and managing infrastructure and perimeter security technologies across enterprise environments.
- In-depth understanding of security governance, including risk management, change management, security policies, access control, user lifecycle management, and AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting).
- Hands-on experience with scripting and automation using Shell, PowerShell, Python, and Ansible to streamline security operations.
- Experience managing Endpoint Security solutions such as Microsoft Defender, McAfee, and Symantec.
- Proficient in Email, Web, and Network Security technologies, including Trend Micro, Menlo Security, Forcepoint, and Trend Micro DDI.
- Hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint), Threat Detection (Splunk, DDAN), Vulnerability Management (Qualys), and Identity & Access Management (CyberArk, Oracle IAM).
- Exposure to deploying and supporting Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) components and micro-segmentation solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent, with knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and industry certifications including CISSP and CCNP Security preferred.
