Support deal origination & execution in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector through in-depth research, industry analysis, and preparation of client deliverables.
Build and maintain financial models for M&A advisory transactions, including valuation, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing.
Coordinate with client management, legal advisors, and other intermediaries to ensure smooth transaction execution.
Draft pitch materials, information memoranda, investor presentations, and term sheets tailored to pharma sector transactions.
Conduct company, industry, market, and competitor research with a focus on pharma, biotech, and healthcare services.
Perform due diligence on target companies, including regulatory, R&D pipeline, and market dynamics.
Ensure accuracy and quality of client deliverables with strong attention to detail.
Work across products (M&A, equity capital markets, debt advisory) to support origination and execution.
Skills and Requirement
Strong knowledge of financial concepts and valuation methodologies, especially relating to M&A in the pharma/healthcare sector
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple engagements, and adapt to rapidly changing assignments
Strong analytical skills to evaluate pharma companies, including understanding of drug pipelines, regulatory approvals, and market positioning
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for financial modeling and presentation
Excellent quantitative, writing, and communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to work effectively with senior professionals

Eligibility
MBA from a Tier 1/2 college with 3–6 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, consulting, or financial institutions with exposure to pharma/healthcare.
For graduates (non-MBA), minimum 6 years of relevant experience in investment banking or pharma-focused financial advisory.
CA rank holders or equivalent qualifications with strong pharma/healthcare transaction experience may also be considered.
