Job Description-AVP/ General Manager Business Development- U.S.A
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONAL
Position offered: General Manager/ Vice President depending upon experience &
qualifications
The selected candidate will be responsible for driving Intec's business growth across
the United States, Canada & Europe, by identifying and securing new Business
opportunities. This role requires a strong network within the AEC industry, with
Architects, Engineers, Design Companies, Contractors.
LOCATION: Gurugram, Haryana, India.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
The prospective candidate must have:
University Degree in Engineering / Architecture / Construction/ Project
Management.
Experience:
Must have at least 10 years working experience in the Construction Industry,
in consulting, Design, Engineering, Architecture.
Preference to those having experience in U.S.A & European markets.
Proven track record of driving sales growth, structuring high-value contracts,
and building long-term client partnerships.
Deep understanding of construction industry, workflows, digital engineering
solutions, and AEC technology trends.
Strong communication & negotiation skills to engage with senior
stakeholders and C-suite executives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth: Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand
Intec's footprint across the USA and Canada.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong
relationships with decision makers in general contracting, engineering design,
construction projects, and infrastructure sectors.
Revenue Generation & Contract Negotiation: Drive end-to-end sales
processes, leading contract discussions and achieving revenue goals.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry
trends and develop business strategies in co-ordination with other officers of the
company and the group.
Mandatory Skills
10+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales within BIM / VDC / Engineering Design Services (not staffing)
10+ years in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry with exposure to project-based / fixed-price delivery
US / Europe / Australia / Canada market exposure
Experience in selling BIM (Building Information Modeling), Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), or specialized MEP/Structural design services.
Experience in selling BIM, VDC, MEP, or Structural design services as end-to-end project solutions
Proven track record in client acquisition and revenue generation, especially in offshore/global delivery models
Engineering / Architecture education bacground.
Network with architects / contractors / consultants
Excellent Communications skill
Team Size handled: Should have team handing exp of min 10+.
