Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Execution

  • Own end to end delivery for assigned programs/ projects/ services with accountability for quality, timelines and cost
  • Define priorities, operating models and execution road maps aligned to organizational strategy
  • Drive Productivity, automation and process excellence initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to SLA/KPIs

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and mentor a team and SME. Build high performance culture
  • Conduct Performance reviews, capability development and succession planning
  • Foster collaboration across cross functional teams

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with business, technology and control functions to shape solutions
  • Act as escalation point for critical issues
  • Present updates, risks and opportunities to senior leadership

Governance & Risk

  • Ensure robust controls, audit readiness and risk mitigation
  • Drive incident management, root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Maintain strong governance through reviews, metrics and reporting

Transformation & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities for digitization
  • Lead change initiatives and support enterprise transform programs
  • Promote data driven decision making and agile ways of working

Process and Compliance

  • Good understanding and able to apply test processes laid down within the test team, and/or standards as defined by project and SCB.
  • Ability to work in a highly compliant landscape and work within the boundaries of globally defined software quality management practices and policies
  • Understand that traceability and reporting are extremely important in highly compliant environments and be prepared to engrain these practices in team's ways of working

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
