We are looking to engage with seasoned Cyber Security professionals for an AVP Security Architecture & Engineering role within a leading global financial services environment.

This role sits at the intersection of architecture, risk, and enterprise security strategy, driving secure-by-design principles across complex technology ecosystems.

Role Overview

As a Cyber Security Architect, you will be responsible for defining and governing enterprise-wide security architecture across cloud, applications, infrastructure, and data environments.

You will act as a trusted advisor to business and technology teams, ensuring that all solutions align with security standards, regulatory frameworks, and evolving risk landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain enterprise security architecture standards, patterns, and roadmaps
• Embed secure-by-design principles across cloud, on-prem, application, and data platforms
• Conduct architecture reviews, security assessments, and governance checks
• Ensure alignment with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, RBI/SEBI guidelines
• Drive adoption of Zero Trust architecture and modern security practices

Provide SME leadership across:

• Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Endpoint & Workload Protection (EDR/XDR)
• Network Security & Segmentation
• Application & API Security
• Data Protection & Encryption
• Partner with cross-functional teams on solution design, vendor evaluation, and risk mitigation
• Ideal Candidate
• 8+ years of experience in Cyber / Information Security
• Strong expertise in enterprise security architecture and multi-domain security
• Hands-on exposure to modern security tools and cloud platforms
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable architectures
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM or Cloud Security Specializations are advantageous.
