Key Responsibilities

• Undertake data collection, processing, and management of both structured and unstructured datasets.
• Identify valuable data sources and automate data cleaning and data capture processes to ensure data quality and efficiency.
• Analyze large volumes of data to discover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Prepare and present information through data visualization techniques to communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, IT, and business teams to align analytics efforts with organizational goals.
• Prepare portfolio performance reports at defined intervals, incorporate business feedback, and continuously enrich reporting quality.
• Drive automation projects to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the execution of the organization's advanced analytics roadmap.
• Train and mentor team members on new open-source data analytics platforms.
• Apply strong analytical and logical thinking skills to solve complex business problems.
• Utilize domain knowledge in general insurance, particularly motor and health products, to enhance data analysis relevance.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in Python, R, and SQL; familiarity with Java or VB Script and object-oriented programming.
• Expertise in advanced Excel functionalities.
• Strong technical knowledge in data modeling, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Ability to drive and manage automation initiatives.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with logical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Understanding of general insurance products, especially motor and health insurance, is advantageous.
