Job Description

Job Summary**

The AVP - Channel Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing a network of channel partners to drive sales growth and expand market reach. This role focuses on building strong relationships, enabling partner success, and achieving revenue targets through indirect sales channels.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Develop and execute strategic channel plans to meet or exceed sales targets and business objectives.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners that align with company goals and market strategy.
  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with existing channel partners, including regular communication, performance reviews, and joint business planning.
  • Provide ongoing training, support, and enablement to channel partners on product knowledge, sales processes, and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement partner incentive programs, promotions, and marketing campaigns to motivate and drive partner performance.
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless channel operations and partner satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and manage partner agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new channel opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on channel performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to senior management.

Job Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in channel management, business development, or sales leadership, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of successfully building, managing, and growing indirect sales channels.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales models, partner ecosystems, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with partners and attend industry events.
