As an AVP - Analytics at GeoIQ, you will play a crucial role in shaping the data-driven decision-making processes within the organisation. You will lead a dynamic team of analysts, work closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development and implementation of analytics strategies. Team Leadership

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Provide guidance on analytical methodologies, best practices, and professional development.

Analytics Strategy

  • Develop and execute the analytics strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.

Data Analysis And Modelling

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Utilise statistical modelling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation.

Reporting And Visualisation

  • Oversee the creation of clear and impactful data visualisations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate reports that support informed decision-making.

Data Quality And Governance

  • Establish and enforce data quality standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytical findings.
  • Implement and maintain data governance practices to safeguard sensitive information.

Technology Integration

  • Stay abreast of emerging analytics technologies and tools; recommend and implement improvements to existing analytics infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e. g., Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics).
  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e. g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of statistical modelling and machine learning concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
