Job Description – Senior Telecom E3D Designer
Experience: 10+ Years Tool Expertise: AVEVA E3D (Mandatory)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Telecom E3D Designer with 10+ years of expertise in telecom engineering design and 3D modelling using AVEVA E3D. The candidate will be responsible for telecom equipment modelling, cable routing, cable tray design, and preparation of telecom engineering deliverables for industrial, oil & gas, energy, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain telecom 3D models in AVEVA E3D.
- Perform detailed modelling of:
- Fiber Optic (FO) Cables
- Telecom & Data Cables
- Cable Trays, Ladders, and Conduits (2D & 3D)
- Telecom Racks, Cabinets, Switches, Routers, ODF/FDF, and Patch Panels
- Prepare telecom engineering deliverables including:
- Equipment Layout Drawings
- Interconnection Drawings
- Cable Routing Drawings
- Telecom Room Layouts
- General Arrangement (GA) Drawings
- Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Civil, and Structural disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
- Support design reviews, installation, and project execution activities.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of Telecom Design experience with strong AVEVA E3D expertise.
- Hands-on experience in telecom cable modelling and routing within E3D.
- Strong knowledge of Fiber Optic Networks, Structured Cabling, LAN/WAN, CCTV, PAGA, Access Control, and Communication Systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and telecom design standards (TIA/EIA, IEC, IEEE, ITU).
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
Preferred Industry Experience: Oil & Gas, Energy, Windmills, Power Transmission & Distribution, Data Centres, Industrial Infrastructure, or Telecom Projects.
