About The Role

As an Aviation Security Compliance Officer at Amadeus India, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our IT systems, data, and internal processes comply with civil aviation security regulations, including BCAS (Bureau of Civil Aviation Security) and relevant international standards.

This role is technology and compliancefocused, not operational airport screening. You will work closely with engineering, security, legal, and regulatory stakeholders to proactively manage compliance, risk, and audits across travel technology platforms that support the global aviation ecosystem.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Compliance & Audits

• Conduct regular audits of IT systems, applications, and internal processes to ensure compliance with BCAS regulations and global aviation security standards.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
  
  

Data Protection & Privacy

• Ensure adherence to data protection regulations such as GDPR and applicable local laws.
• Safeguard sensitive traveler and operational data across systems and platforms.
  
  

Risk Management

• Identify potential security gaps and risks in technology solutions and processes.
• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce exposure and strengthen controls.
  
  

Regulatory Liaison

• Act as the primary point of contact for aviation security regulatory authorities in India on compliancerelated matters.
• Coordinate responses, documentation, and regulatory submissions as required.
  
  

Policy & Governance

• Develop, review, and update security policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with regulatory changes and business evolution.
• Promote a strong security and compliance culture across teams.
  
  

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 8–15 years of experience in aviation security, regulatory compliance, IT security, or risk management.
  
  

Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of BCAS guidelines, aviation security frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
• Good exposure to cybersecurity and data protection principles.
  
  

Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in auditing, risk assessment, and compliance management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across technical and nontechnical teams.
