Job Overview:
We are seeking an AVEVA PI Interface and Integration Engineer with 48 years of experience to support the integration of industrial data sources into the AVEVA PI System.The role focuses on ensuring reliable, secure, and high-quality data acquisition from automation and enterprise systems
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain PI Interfaces for:
o OPC DA / OPC UA / OPC HDA
o Modbus TCP
o RDBMS / OLEDB
o UFL and Other interfaces
- Work with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems to acquire process data
- Perform interface sizing, scan class tuning, buffering, and failover configuration
- Implement tag naming standards, units, and metadata
- Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues such as gaps, bad values, and latency
- Support historical data migration from legacy systems where required
- Collaborate with AF, Analytics, and Visualization teams
Skills
- 47 years in analytics, manufacturing intelligence, or PI-based analysis
- Strong background in industrial automation (DCS, PLC, SCADA)
- Hands-on experience with AVEVA PI System and PI Interfaces
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, OLEDB)
- Basic understanding of PI Data Archive and PI System architecture
