AVEVA MES System Architect

We are looking for an experienced AVEVA MES System Architect to lead the 

design, architecture, and governance of enterprise-scale MES deployments 

for global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design end-to-end AVEVA MES architectures covering Performance, 

 Operations, Quality, and Genealogy modules across multi-site environments

- Define system topology, server sizing, network segmentation, and 

 redundancy strategies for high-availability MES deployments

- Establish integration architecture between AVEVA MES and enterprise 

 systems (SAP PP/QM, ERP, LIMS, DCS/SCADA/PLC)

- Lead architecture review boards and provide technical governance across 

 program phases (Design, Build, SIT, UAT, Go-Live)

- Engage directly with global client stakeholders to gather requirements, 

 validate architecture decisions, and present solution designs

- Oversee AVEVA System Platform deployment, IDE configuration, and 

 environment readiness across Dev, QA, Pre-Prod, and Production tiers

Requirements:

- 10+ years of hands-on MES/MOM experience with deep expertise in 

 AVEVA MES (Performance, Operations, Quality modules)

- Proven architect-level experience across at least two full lifecycle 

 AVEVA MES implementations

- Strong command of AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA Historian, OIS, 

 and AVEVA Work Tasks / Skelta BPM

- Advanced SQL, .NET programming, and REST/Web API design experience

- Knowledge of ISA-88, ISA-95, and MESA-11 standards

- Strong understanding of GxP validation, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11

- Experience with OPC-UA/DA, Modbus, and industrial communication protocols

Good to Have:

- Experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG, specialty chemical, or process 

 manufacturing

- Knowledge of cloud-native MES architectures (Azure/AWS)

- Background in Industrial Networking: VLANs, DMZ, OT security (IEC 62443)

- Prior experience with SAP PP/QM integration patterns
