Job Description
Experience: 4–5 Years
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, (Electrical & Instrumentation is preferred choice).
Location: Bangalore/Pune/Mysore/Hyderabad – No location constraint.
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AVEVA Engineering Administrator to support the Process/Instrumentation and Electrical disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and user support of the AVEVA Engineering environment, ensuring data integrity and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain AVEVA Engineering databases, projects, and user access.
- Provide technical support to Process, Instrumentation, and Electrical engineering teams.
- Configure and manage engineering data structures, catalogues, specifications, and project settings.
- Perform database backups, upgrades, health checks, and troubleshooting activities.
- Support data integration and exchange between AVEVA Engineering and other engineering applications.
- Develop and maintain administration procedures, standards, and documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth implementation of engineering workflows.
- Assist in system testing, deployment, and migration activities, including upgrades to newer AVEVA versions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the latest versions of AVEVA Engineering and related AVEVA products.
- Knowledge of PML programming for customization and automation.
- Experience with engineering data migration, system integration, and project setup.
- Exposure to EPC or industrial projects in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Process industries.
