Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical design, technical direction, and solution.
- Architect-level CITRIX, VMWare, MS AVD Virtualization skills and experience designing, installing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting complex and large deals.
- Architect-level skills optimizing performance, scalability, security, high-availability, monitoring, printing, connectivity, group policy
- Administrator-level skills operating Intune, Mobility and Virtualization – CITRIX, VMware
- Provide a comprehensive end to end architecture for the stakeholder's business and technical requirements. Ensuring the solution aligns across the business for people, process and systems domains
- Gather business and technical requirements from internal and external stakeholders in order to produce a requirements specification document.
- Analyze and investigate possible solutions in order to meet the customer's business and technical requirements.
- Produce professional high-level solution descriptions and obtain customer acceptance of these solutions.
- Be responsible for the technical solution through all phases of the project, support the project managers and work within a defined change management process
Technical Competence
- Proven experience of leading Virtual Desktop design and implementation effort on complex projects, including the planning, tracking, and controlling of infrastructure project activities
- Strong experience of technically leading complex projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle (Analysis, Architecture, Design, Build, Test & Production)
- Experience of working in a matrix organization
- Experience of technically leading projects throughout the complete IT Development Lifecycle from requirements capture to handover and knowledge transfer.
- The candidate will have the capability to organize and run requirement capture workshops as well as proactively listening to user needs.
- The candidate should be able to lead the customer relationship.
- Disciplined and rigorous approach to network and infrastructure design and ability to ask challenging questions about the requirements and architecture of the infrastructure at each level of the hierarchy
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience

- As an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer, will be responsible for installing and configuring AVD technologies including host pools, AVD images and scaling.
- Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions for Azure WVD based production configuration,
- Experience migrating virtual desktops from on-prem to cloud, Tenant to Tenant.
- Experience using FSlogix technologies for user and office 365 profiling requirement.
- Implement Azure site recovery for workload replication for BCDR requirements.
- Take accountability for applying implementing maintaining and examining the documentation of the AVD.
- Knowledge and experience of using Azure migrate and any other relevant tool for migrating the workloads
- Manage Azure Active Directory for Azure Virtual Desktop related systems
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop Solution
- Responsible for managing the resolution of major incidents and any escalated issues for virtual Application/desktop Delivery.
- Familiarity with Windows and Azure automation tools
- Collaborate with engineering, development, and product teams to evaluate and identify optimal solutions for the services provided.
- Shown experience within the implementation, management, and support of Virtual Desktop environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and concepts supporting IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS including networking, compute, storage, subscriptions, and security.
- Experience with IP Networking, VNet peering, Azure Firewall, and Azure Active Directory.
