Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Technical BA cum Developer who can bridge business requirements with technical solutions. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, designing functional specifications, and implementing solutions within the Avaloq platform. The ideal candidate will have strong Avaloq development expertise along with business analysis capabilities in wealth management domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
- Convert business needs into technical solutions and functional requirement specifications (FRS)
- Map requirements to Avaloq object models and workflows
- Develop and configure Avaloq solutions using scripting and parameterization
- Work on Avaloq components including workflow actions, DDIC, report writer, and AMI/Web Services/API setups
- Implement rules setup for accounting and cost structures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including BA, developers, and testers
- Troubleshoot issues related to Avaloq batch jobs and system processes
- Ensure proper documentation and obtain required sign-offs
Required Skills
Core Avaloq Expertise:
- Strong experience in Avaloq scripting & parameterization
- Hands-on with workflow actions, DDIC (Data Dictionary), and Report Writer
- Experience with AMI / Web Services / API integrations
- Rules setup (accounting, costing)
Technical Skills:
- SQL and PL/SQL programming
Domain Knowledge (Must Have – Ops Stream):
- Avaloq modules: STEX, Security Transactions, Settlements, Payments
- Knowledge of Incoming Payments and Money Transfers
- Wealth Management product flows (Cash EQ, AQDQ, Structured Products, Bonds, Funds)
- SWIFT setups and Corporate Actions
- Advice/Statements configuration
