What you'll do

Working in a permanent feature team, you'll will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing software and data structures while ensuring quality and performance standards. You'll collaborate with other teams to support data migration, cleansing and enrichment, building and testing scripts, and reconciliation routines.

You'll be working with Avaloq technologies, database management and software development and have a deep understanding of the Avaloq Enterprise wide object model.

You'll also be:

  • Mapping Avaloq and other platform physical data to the Enterprise Data Model, taking care to ensure conceptual terms are clearly defined and reference data standards are adhered to
  • Performing data quality checks on data according to defined dimensions and rules and develop options to enhance data quality including developing Avaloq system functionality to mitigate the risk of poor data quality being introduced at source
  • Support options analysis, build and maintain persistent data profiling capability over master data sources, connecting with remote rule and results repositories
  • Work to optimise the outcomes of the Avaloq APDM, reviewing discarded items and defining treatment strategies as required and optimising rules and system performance
  • Work to interface the APDM with external data minimisation orchestration systems

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with strong Avaloq experience in software design and implementation, including being able to exploit programming languages to solve complex problems. You'll also need to be capable of complex requirements analysis capture and validation against and with business and systems requirements.

You'll bring 12 years of experience of leading the implementation of programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance.

Additionally, you'll demonstrate:

  • Deep understanding of Avaloq EWOM or APDM or APD with experience of the Avaloq EWOM or Enterprise Wide Object Model, APDMW or Automated Personal Data Wiping or Management
  • Should have worked on Avaloq Data Migration Projects with expertise in managing and executing data migration projects in Avaloq environments, ensuring successful data transfer and system integration
  • Should have experience in ACCP, PLSQL or AvqScript and Avaloq Script enabling efficient programming, debugging, and query management
  • Should be experience in Data modelling, metadata management and data quality principles
  • Should have knowledge of APEX for building scalable and secure web applications
