Role: Avaloq Lead Consultant
Location: KL, Malaysia ( Onsite Role )

Responsibilities
- Lead or Support analysis & design, workshops, driver or co-driver of solution validation under the assigned domain to ensure consistent and complete requirement and solution coverage.
- Lead or Support Stream Leads and/or BAs in order to scope the changes. Think outside the box, always consider business needs, and be prepared to challenge the requirements & solutions. Any solution must be cost-optimum.
- Maintain functional & technical designs for new features or adaptation.
- Perform coding & unit test of the assigned work package.
- Report on the progresses, risks and issues. Escalate to the lead developer/stream lead/ project manager on a timely manner
- Support subject matter expert at specific areas and be able to go deep into requirement/solution gaps.
- Acting as the contact person concerning technical questions as well as supporting consulting projects and workshops with customers.
- Perform unit testing and SIT in the testing phase.
- Assist in the UAT by providing clarifications, understanding the reported issue, simulating the issues and performing defect fixes in a timely manner.
Good to have:
- Modules knowledge in Avaloq Core Platform :
- IRT, CRT, Cost & Charges, Book Engine, Rule Engine, Finance.
- SDM (e.g. Client Mgmt, CRM, Data Modelling, Reporting Desk)
- Tech (e.g. Security, Output, Batch & EOD, Batch, Anonymization, Report Writer)
- Interfaces (e.g. CAPI, AMI)
- Experience working on SWIFT and FIX messages
- Knowledge on general Avaloq modules such as Reporting Desk, Preferences and Security Access.
- Specialist knowledge in front, middle & back office practices on wealth banking industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree (or its equivalent) in Information Technologies or related course.
- Team Lead role in past projects.
- 5-8 years of experience in avaloq development.
- Experience in leading discussions with business and operations.
- Good Knowledge of Financial and Global Market Regulations.
