Brief Description About The Project
We are seeking a skilled Field Worker/ Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery to join our research team at SJRI. The role involves field-based activities for studies in nutrition and public health, including participant engagement, sample collection, basic clinical assessments, and follow-up. The position supports longitudinal, interventional, observational, cohort studies, and randomized controlled trials.

Preferred Qualifications: BSc OR Diploma in ANM / GNM / Community Health
Experience:> 2 years of experience working as a medical technician in a clinical or research setting
Preferred Language: English, Kannada, Hindi, South Indian Languages
Location: Bangalore
Salary: Rs. 27,355/- per month
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collect biological samples (blood, urine, saliva, and stool) from participants following standard clinical and ethical protocols.
- Assist in basic sample processing, labeling, storage, and transport to the laboratory as per study guidelines.
- Support basic clinical assessments and research-related procedures using standard medical equipment.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, biosafety, and ethical standards during field and clinic activities.
- Maintain cleanliness, readiness, and basic functioning of field and clinical equipment.
- Follow quality assurance procedures and promptly report any deviations or issues during data or sample collection.
- Maintain accurate field records, sample logs, and documentation related to study activities.
- Coordinate daily field activities, including participant follow-up and visit scheduling, under supervision.
- Work in both field site outside and in Bengaluru.
