Responsibilities
This role is about the Brain. You will work on high-level decision-making and the integration of AI with physical interaction—creating robots that can reason through tasks and adapt to the physical world.
What You'll Be Doing
- Behavior & Logic: Design robust state machines or behavior trees to handle complex, multi-stage missions.
- Physical AI: Explore and implement Reinforcement Learning (RL) or Imitation Learning techniques to teach robots complex physical tasks.
- System Integration: Tie together perception and planning to create a cohesive, end-to-end autonomy stack.
- Edge Intelligence: Implement logic that allows the robot to learn from physical constraints and real-world environmental feedback.
What We're Looking For
- Systems Thinker: A high-energy engineer who can see the big picture of how different software modules (Perception, Planning, Hardware) interact.
- Advanced Logic: Strong background in Discrete Math and Optimization.
- Prototyping: Ability to rapidly iterate on high-level autonomy logic in Python or C++.
- Bonus: Experience with End-to-End learning for robotics or using LLMs for robotic task planning.
