Automotive Technology Planning Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze emerging and current automotive technologies in both domestic and global markets.
• Track competitors short-term and long-term model strategies to prepare detailed benchmarking reports.
• Conduct design, cost, weight analysis, and performance evaluation of new automotive technologies.
• Provide summarized analysis reports and strategic insights to support the engineering team.
• Deliver market issue analysis and contribute toward continuous improvement strategies.

Domain Knowledge & Industry Understanding

• Sound understanding of the Indian and global automotive industry, vehicle segments, and consumer behavior.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, innovations, and assess their impact on MSIL models.
• Knowledge of automotive regulations, including safety and emission norms (current and upcoming).
• Capability to scan competition and translate findings into actionable insights aligned with customer needs and preferences.
