Automotive - Senior Content Writer and Video Journalism - (Auto/ EV Cars)

About the role:

• Create content for New car launches, test drives & in-depth road tests
• Coverage on the EV ecosystem & India's fast-evolving mobility story
• Buying guides, ownership experiences & head-to-head comparisons
• Automotive tech, connected cars & AI-driven vehicles
• Breaking news, pricing updates & industry trends that shape the market
• Work across both written content and video formats, collaborating closely with our video team on shoots, test drives, and on-ground coverage.
• Experience in video scripting, presenting, or on-location reporting.
• Cover auto expos, press launches & live test drive events
• Collaborate with experienced editors, video journalists & content strategists
• Shape content for a fast-moving, digital-first brand rewriting auto media in India

Good to have:

• 8+ years in auto journalism, with desk/team leadership (Editor / Bureau Lead)
• Minimum 6 years of content writing or video journalism experience (automotive background)
• Have a key differentiating strength — deep technical road-testing, EV specialization, or video-first franchise building.
• Original thinkers with a clear editorial voice.
• Sharp writing, strong research instincts, and the ability to tell a story that sticks.
• Working knowledge of SEO and digital content strategy.
• A genuine passion for cars, technology, and auto media.
• Familiarity with WordPress or any modern CMS.
• Established auto-title pedigree, strong OEM relationships, and proven audience growth.
