We are currently looking for a meticulous and experienced Used Car Inspector to join our growing team.

The Role

As a Used Car Inspector, you will be the eyes and ears of our operation on the ground. You will conduct rigorous, multi-point inspections on a wide variety of used vehicles, identifying both obvious wear-and-tear and hidden mechanical faults. Your technical assessments will directly power the detailed reports our clients rely on to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive pre-purchase and condition inspections on various makes and models of used cars.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, structural, and cosmetic issues accurately.

Perform test drives to assess engine performance, transmission smoothness, steering, braking, and overall drivability.

Identify common failure points and historical maintenance issues specific to different vehicle models.

Utilize OBD scanners and other diagnostic tools to retrieve and interpret vehicle data.

Compile detailed, transparent, and easy-to-understand inspection reports for customers.

Advise on the estimated cost and urgency of required repairs or maintenance.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: *A Diploma or B.Tech in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering* is required.

Core Experience: Proven hands-on experience in car maintenance, servicing, and diagnostics within the automotive industry.

Role Background: *Must have prior experience working as a Service Advisor, Technical Advisor, or Technician at an authorized service center or a reputed multi-brand garage.*

Technical Skills: Deep understanding of internal combustion engines, modern vehicle electronics, chassis dynamics, and safety systems.

Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and clear communication skills to translate technical jargon into customer-friendly advice.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
