Automotive Diagnostic Engineer

• Requirement specification for Automotive Aftersales Aftermarket diagnostic tester software.
• End to end diagnostic content creation for all automotive systems e.g., engine management, electric hybrid systems, brake control, infotainment, ADAS, transmission, HVAC, airbags etc.
• Analysis of vehicle communication bus logs using various analyzers.
• Simulation of automotive systems using simulator solutions and in conjunction with OE testers.
• Design creation of workflow or test sequences using IDEs like BDX or Grade-X
• Evaluation of OE diagnostic data, derivation of useful insights and implementing the same in target tester.
• On-vehicle validation of implemented diagnostic content and creation of test reports.
• Benchmarking and reverse engineering of aftersales aftermarket diagnostic testers.
• Coverage evaluation of aftermarket tester by performing tests on various vehicle brands and systems, in various markets create test reports.
• Thorough review the deliverables and provide recommendations.
• Continuous learning and self-development.
• Closely interact with software engineering team and technical experts from global teams.

Must have

Shopfloor, Protocol, UDS, CAN, Automotive domain knowledge, automotive workshop experience, diagnostic Technician, diagnostic content authoring, DTC, ODX, OTX, Grade-X, ECU flashing, Reverse Engineering
