Responsibilities
- Develop vehicle concepts, layouts, and architecture
- Design key systems: chassis, suspension, tilt/lean mechanism
- Create 3D models using CAD tools (SolidWorks / CATIA / Fusion 360)
- Perform basic simulations (structural, motion, stability)
- Support prototype fabrication and testing
- Work closely with founders on rapid iteration and problem-solving
- Refine designs for performance, safety, and manufacturability
- Conduct advanced simulations:
Structural (FEA)
Vehicle dynamics
Aerodynamics (CFD)
- Optimize weight, cost, and efficiency
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Develop engineering documentation and design standards
- Lead full vehicle engineering programs
- Oversee design validation, testing, and homologation
- Implement design processes and engineering best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and build technical team capability
- Drive innovation in vehicle performance and safety systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's / Master's in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
- Strong understanding of:
Vehicle dynamics
Suspension systems
Structural design
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks / CATIA / Fusion 360)
- Experience or knowledge in simulation tools (ANSYS / Abaqus / MATLAB / Simulink)
- Basic understanding of EV systems (motor, battery integration)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in tilting/lean vehicle mechanisms
- Knowledge of aerodynamics & CFD analysis
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and fabrication
- Familiarity with lightweight materials and design optimization
- Passion for building innovative mobility solutions
