Automaton Developer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced RPA Developer to create and maintain automation solutions including RPA, Power Apps, Chatbots, AI, Power BI, and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate should have strong UiPath skills and a solid software development background.

Responsibilities

1. Provide implementation and post-production support to ensure business stability:

• Develop and maintain automation solutions for global business teams.
• Coordinate and support change request analysis and implementation, including evaluating and analyzing changes.
• Coordinate and support incident resolution.
• Advocate for leveraging automation to enhance process efficiencies for the business.

2. Develop automations according to published governance frameworks and standards

• Create automations such as RPA, workflows, and chatbots in accordance with established governance frameworks and standards.
• Assist in planning, prioritizing, and implementing automation tests, including designing and developing RPA test plans, scripts, and procedures.
• Coordinate and support user acceptance and regression testing by preparing test scenarios and obtaining approvals from business process owners.
• Monitor test coverage and ensure the timely resolution of defects.
• Facilitate end-user manual preparation, training planning and execution, and certification.

3. Independently contribute while effectively collaborating within a team of developers to facilitate cross-functional learning, development, and the sharing of best practices.

• Foster strong working relationships with internal partners, including both business users and technical resources.
• Engage in reporting automation, optimization, and other analytics and reporting projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement solutions in accordance with PepsiCo standards.
• Provide accurate and transparent status updates and promptly escalate issues to the supervisor.

4. Contribute to continuous improvement

• Collaborate with business partners to identify and document areas for improvement
• Act as a subject matter expert to assist others in using RPA for automating and streamlining manual processes
• Identify opportunities to replicate and reuse existing technology to enhance organizational efficiency

Qualifications

• Possess 5 to 7 years of experience as an RPA Developer with hands-on software development expertise.
• Monitor Snow queues and promptly resolve any issues to minimize business impact.
• Hold RPA certification (e.g., UiPath Certified Professional).
• Experience integrating AI/ML into RPA solutions is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in utilizing the latest UiPath solutions, including Insights, Test Manager, and Task Mining.
• Capable of managing complexity and working independently with large volumes of information.
• Demonstrate strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Skilled in balancing responsibilities related to production support and project tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and work with a global team.
• Exhibit strong verbal communication skills with the capability to clearly document and explain business processes and automated solution designs, and to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
