Position Summary
Level: Consultant
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you'll do:
Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis TOSCA.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Integrate TOSCA automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test suites.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior automation engineers.
- Prepare test documentation, status reports, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills / Project Experience:
- 3-6 years of Hands-on automation testing experience with Tricentis TOSCA (test case design, execution, test data management, and reporting) and Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of test automation concepts and best practices.
- Experience in analyzing functional requirements or test casesuser stories and converting them into automated test scenarios/cases.
- Experience in automating web, API, and desktop applications using TOSCA and Selenium.
- Proficiency in test case design techniques (e.g., equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) for automation integration.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of automation test strategy & test planning.
- Understanding of automation frameworks models.
- Able to drive the functional walkthrough and review calls with client functional development teams.
- Able to perform estimation of test activities using quantitative methods.
- Experience in test status reporting and leading a small team of 2-3 members.
- Hands-on experience in designing end-to-end test scenarios and defining implementing a scalable test data framework for execution.
- Experience in different SDLC/STLC lifecycles (Agile, waterfall) and methodologies.
- Experience in different test phases with standardized QA processes.
- Experience with QA specific tools for test management, test execution progress, defect tracking and triaging.
- Experience in defect logging, tracking, and closing defects.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domains and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries.
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tool.
Good to Have:
- Experience with TOSCA integrations (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, VBScript).
- Exposure to other automation tools (e.g., UI Path, Worksoft Certify, Selenium, UFT).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, qTest).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in test automation, with at least 4 year of hands-on TOSCA automation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Track record of delivering automation solutions in enterprise-scale projects.
- Participation in end-to-end automation lifecycle: requirements analysis, scripting, execution, defect management, and reporting.
Education:
B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc. (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
