Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript to join a high-impact banking project for UBS. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building robust automation frameworks, executing end-to-end test scenarios, and working within Agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright & TypeScript
Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications
Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing
Analyze test results, report defects, and track resolution
Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams
Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines
Ensure quality delivery in Agile/Scrum environments
Required Skills
Strong experience in Playwright Automation Testing
Proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript
Web Application Testing experience
API Testing knowledge (Postman/REST APIs)
Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills
Banking or Financial Services domain experience
SQL and Database Testing knowledge
Exposure to Cloud and DevOps practices
