Job Title: Automation Testing
Location: India (On-site)
Role Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation test scripts.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results.
- Maintain and enhance existing automated tests.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and rectify defects.
- Ensure the quality of software releases through rigorous testing.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability.
- Utilize test automation tools and frameworks effectively.
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
- Report and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure high quality.
- Monitor testing progress and report status to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for test process improvement.
- Work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
