Automation Testing- Selenium + Cypress or Playwright

Role Overview:

Skilled Test Engineer with 4 years of experience, specializing in Java Selenium and Robot Framework with Python. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, performing integration, manual, and desktop application testing, and ensuring the quality of complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build automation frameworks from scratch using Java Selenium and Robot Framework (Python).

Develop and execute automated test scripts for web, desktop applications, and APIs.

Perform integration testing across dependent modules and systems.

Implement API automation using Robot Framework.

Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and desktop application testing.

Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

Take ownership of the complete testing lifecycle for assigned projects.

Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide actionable feedback.

Maintain documentation for test cases, frameworks, and processes.

Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in test automation, manual, and desktop application testing.

Required Skills:

4+ years of hands-on experience in test automation and manual testing.

Expert in Java Selenium for web automation.

Proficient in Robot Framework with Python for both UI and API automation.

Experience in desktop application testing (manual and/or automated).

Strong knowledge of integration testing methodologies.

Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.

Good understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Proven ability to take responsibility and deliver results for complete projects.

Preferred:

Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

Exposure to Agile development environments.
