About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Automation Testing Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through automation, functional testing, performance validation, and comprehensive quality assurance practices. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, curiosity for uncovering edge cases, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and software applications.
• Perform functional testing to validate application features, workflows, and business requirements.
• Conduct stress, load, and performance testing to ensure system reliability under varying workloads.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing before releases.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective.
• Investigate root causes of defects and work with development teams to resolve issues effectively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Support additional testing activities such as usability, compatibility, security, and exploratory testing when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience in Automation Testing and test script development.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of stress testing, load testing, and performance testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify root causes rather than focusing only on symptoms.
• Good understanding of software quality standards and best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Version control systems such as Git.
