Automation testing

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automated testing. The candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will play a key role in planning, designing, and executing test cases, as well as creating automated test scripts for the application.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG and Maven
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and define test strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and smoke testing.
• Analyse test results, document defects, and track them to resolution.
• Continuously improve the testing process and frameworks to enhance productivity and coverage.
• Review and analyse business requirements and design specifications to ensure test cases meet all necessary criteria.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• At least 2 years of experience with automation testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC)
• Hands on automation testing experience using selenium with java
• Good understanding of OOPS concepts and strong programming skills in Java
• Experience in designing and development of automation framework and creation of script using best industry practices such as page object model
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Hands on experience working with postman or similar tool
• Ability to independently work on complex business requirements
• Good Knowledge in Agile Methodology
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
