Job Description

  • Lead the testing effort for assigned user stories, analyzing their impact on existing functionalities.
  • Design, build, and execute tests/validation scenarios, create required test data/setup, and raise defects while participating in defect management calls.
  • Participate in daily calls, provide accurate updates, and raise issues and concerns as needed, ensuring follow-ups for timely resolution of testing issues and regular communication with the reporting manager.
  • Provide accurate testing estimates within daily scrum calls.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Product, and Technology groups to ensure effective communication of UAT team priorities and needs, especially regarding Code Releases and Test environments.
  • Identify testing automation opportunities and test synergies within the Project.
  • Design, build, and test automated tests using intelligent automation solutions to enable the team to automate tests and achieve benefits such as capacity creation, risk reduction, and cycle time reduction.
  • Identify and collaborate with key stakeholders on OKRs/KPIs/metrics to deliver benefits from automation.
  • Ensure adherence to firmwide standards, controls, and intelligent automation solutions governance.
  • Communicate effectively with all relevant parties to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • You must hold a Bachelors degree or above
  • At least 6 years of test design, execute and management experience within the Financial Services industry supporting multiple Line of business
  • Expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and skilled to learn and work with evolving methodologies. Sound knowledge of one or multiple intelligence automation applications and/or programming languages
  • Experience in using of Cucumber / Gherkin / Team City or similar tool (Required). Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experienced in using Business Driven Development / knowledge of agile development / Test Driven Development test methodology or test case automation. Good technical expertise in CSS Selectors and Xpath.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, AngularJS and/or ReactJS UI. Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Tools

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Develop UI using AngularJS and ReactJS (preferred).
  • Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins (preferred).
  • Integrate with applications deployed to AWS Cloud (preferred).
  • Write VB Java scripting and Python/JAVA code (preferred).
  • Possess functional knowledge of KYC (preferred).
  • Demonstrate skills in business analysis, designing, development, and deployment (preferred).
  • Have experience in Business Process Mapping and working in CIB business function, Global Markets, Middle Office, Wholesale Payments, or Security Services (preferred).
