Direct Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using tools such asRest Assured, Cucumber, andAPI Testing Tools.
- Ensure automation test cases align with theEnterprise Automation Frameworkstandards.
- Supportmanual testingexecution when needed by creating and maintaining test sets.
- Assessautomation feasibilityfor functional test sets/cases.
- Provide test automation status updates and execution results toTest Leads/Managers.
- Offertechnical guidanceto other API Automation Engineers.
- Work collaboratively with QA, development, and project teams in anAgile environment.
- Integrate test scripts withinCI/CD pipelines.
Contributing Responsibilities:
- Proficient inJavaand scripting forWeb, Mobile, and APIautomation using tools such asSelenium, Appium, andCucumber.
- Hands-on experience withCI/CD tools,GitLab, andNexus.
- Experience withJIRAandXRayis mandatory.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:
- Strong expertise infunctional testingandtest automationstrategy.
- Practical knowledge in building and maintainingautomation frameworks.
- Collaborative team player with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Specific Qualifications:
- 5+ yearsof experience in QA/Software Testing.
- Minimum5 years of hands-on API test automationexperience.
- At least2 years of experience in the BFSI domain; familiarity with personal finance or lending is a plus.
- Proficiency inJava programming.
- Bachelor's Degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
