Key Responsibilities

• Participate across the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute UI automation scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Develop and execute API automation testing for REST/SOAP services and validate responses, integrations, and data accuracy.
• Perform database testing using SQL queries for data validation, CRUD operations, joins, and backend verification.
• Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of automation frameworks.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and support regression and scheduled test executions.
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
• Utilize GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms for test case generation, automation scripting assistance, test data creation, and productivity improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Development, and Business Analysts.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and software testing principles.
• Experience in UI and API Automation Testing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Database Testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Maven, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Good understanding of Git version control and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience leveraging AI/GenAI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for testing and automation activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
