Client: Leading Investment Banking Client

Responsibilities

As an Automation Tester, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our applications for a leading Investment Banking client. You'll be a proactive team member, collaborating closely with various teams to deliver robust and thoroughly tested solutions.

Contributing Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multiple teams to efficiently resolve issues.
• Work in close coordination with Business Analysts and Development teams to thoroughly analyze test cases and ensure adequate requirement coverage.
• Work closely with Development teams and Business Analysts to resolve technical and business issues, developing a strong understanding of project and testing objectives.
• Develop a strong understanding of the Corporate Client Domain.
• Take ownership of tasks and effectively communicate daily, weekly, and monthly status, ensuring all deliverables align with Testing Governance.
• Be proactive in identifying risks, planning respective mitigation actions, and ensuring their closure.
• Ensure effective test coverage to prevent issues in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and pre-production environments.
• Responsible for root cause analysis of UAT and Production incidents, and subsequent action planning.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical Skills:

• 3-5 years of Automation Test experience using Selenium Tool is a Must.
• Proficiency in Java for test automation.
• Exposure to Jira, SQL, GIT, IDE Eclipse, and Cucumber.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid development models.
• Ability to contribute to both manual and automation testing activities (Techno-Functional tester).
