We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with a strong background in the banking domain to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our banking applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for banking applications.
- Analyze requirements and develop test plans based on specifications.
- Execute automated test cases and report defects in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test automation best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies in the banking domain.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of banking applications and domain-specific functionalities.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar.
- Understanding of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
