Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled API Automation Tester with expertise in the airline domain to develop and maintain automated test scripts. The role involves testing APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of airline systems, and experience with database testing.
Must-Have Skillsets (Mandatory):
- Minimum of 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in the airline domain.
- Extensive experience in API testing automation using tools like Rest Assured and Postman.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Strong analytical skills to understand complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Experience in database testing, particularly with MongoDB and Oracle.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for effective collaboration.
Good-to-Have Skillsets (Optional):
- Knowledge of airline industry concepts such as inventory, pricing, booking, and payments.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Exposure to additional automation tools and frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven ability to design and execute test cases, analyze results, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Demonstrated capability to stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in software testing.
