Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Lead with hands-on expertise in UI automation (Selenium), Mobile automation (Appium), API automation (Rest Assured), and Performance testing (JMeter). The candidate will lead end-to-end test planning, automation strategy, scripting, execution, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the automation effort across Web, Mobile, API, and Performance testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct performance tests using JMeter and analyse results.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Drive defect tracking, RCA, and continuous improvements.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and ensure best practices in testing.
- Prepare test metrics, reports, and ensure timely delivery.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Automation Testing using:
- Selenium (UI Automation)
- Appium (Mobile Automation)
- Rest Assured (API Testing)
- JMeter (Performance Testing)
- Solid programming/scripting knowledge in Java (or Python).
- Experience in TestNG / Maven / Git / Jenkins (or any CI/CD tools).
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
