Automation Test Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Must have:

• 6+ years experience in various phases of testing, designing, and developing complex enterprise applications.
• Ability to influence and drive quality across teams, across disciplines, and across organizations. 
•  3+ years experience working in an Agile SDLC & exposure to JIRA along with other Agile tools. Exposure to Test Management tools like TestRail will be added advantage.
• Strong object-oriented programming, debugging, and test automation skills with C#, TypeScript /JavaScript especially ES6 NodeJS
• Perform both UI and Restful APIs testing using Scripts and tools like Postman, SOAPUI, Swagger- Open API Specs.
• Extremely comfortable with asynchronous programming like C# tasks and JS Promises
• 3+ years hands on working with UI Automation tools like Selenium and modern tools like Playwright or Cypress.
• Should have at least worked on one performance testing tool like JMeter with a strong understanding of various elements, lifecycle, and scoping rules of those elements.
• Perform exploratory testing to understand the feature and how it is implemented. Find additional or unexpected behavior and refine and define additional test cases for the feature
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Windows 2016, 2019, SQL experience.
