Job Description

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing using Java-based frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in UI automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies. Banking or financial services domain exposure is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and/or Playwright
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications
• Perform API testing using Postman and Rest Assured
• Create and maintain BDD/TestNG-based automation frameworks
• Execute regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and functional testing
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Azure DevOps
• Analyze test execution results and debug failures
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams in Agile environments
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings
• Perform database validation using SQL queries
• Prepare test reports and defect tracking using JIRA

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Java
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit and BDD Cucumber framework
• API testing using Postman and Rest Assured
• Framework development experience (POM/Hybrid/Data-Driven)
• CI/CD experience using Jenkins or Azure DevOps
• Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket
• Strong understanding of STLC and Agile methodologies
• Good debugging and analytical skills

Good to Have

• Banking/BFSI domain experience
• Performance testing using JMeter/BlazeMeter
• Mobile automation using Appium
• Cloud/DevOps exposure
• AI-assisted testing exposure
